“Last Fall, a fishing buddy and I were guided on the Williamson River by Chuck Storey. I have been guided by many excellent guides around the west for trout and steelhead, and Chuck was as good as the best of them. He was personable, knowledgeable and expert at putting us on some of the largest trout I have ever caught. The day was one of the finest fishing days I have had in over 50 years of fly fishing. Chucks boat was also very clean with everything in good repair.
Are we going back this summer for more? You bet we are!”

“I booked a guided trip with Charles on the Williamson for the Hex hatch over the summer for myself and 11 year old son and couldn't have been happier. Charles put us on a ton of fish, I caught the biggest trout(more like a steelhead!) I ever have on a fly rod and my son probably caught more than me! He was great with him as my son hasn't fly fished a lot-showed where to cast and mend every time and it was productive. We will definitely be back next year!”

“I have fished both the Williamson and Deschutes Rivers with Chuck of Storeys Fly Fishing. Chuck had us very well prepared and using the right set ups at the right places at the right times. The fishing was excellent and I was amazed at the size and variety of fish that we caught in water I may easily have by-passed. We caught several different species of trout with the highlights the massive native redband, rainbows, bull trout and even a steelhead. I have already planned trips with Storeys Fly Fishing for 2021. I look very forward to returning to the Williamson and Deschutes and trying new waters: the Rogue and the Wood Rivers.”
